Project Details

Development of a transport strategy to improve connectivity within a deprived 250-hectare area surrounding the River Lea, in East London. Part of numerous regeneration projects in preparation for the London 2012 Olympic games, we investigated a wide range of potential schemes to improve connectivity through rail, bus, pedestrian, and cycle linkages. The study evaluated potential developments and proposed a phased programme related to the regeneration/development for the area while ensuring the provision of sustainable transport systems.
