Development of a transport strategy to improve connectivity within a deprived 250-hectare area surrounding the River Lea, in East London. Part of numerous regeneration projects in preparation for the London 2012 Olympic games, we investigated a wide range of potential schemes to improve connectivity through rail, bus, pedestrian, and cycle linkages. The study evaluated potential developments and proposed a phased programme related to the regeneration/development for the area while ensuring the provision of sustainable transport systems. read more
A preliminary traffic and transport assessment of the development of 250 hectares land west of Bracknell. This included the integration with the proposed Airtrack, comprising a new rail service for access to/from Heathrow’s Terminal 5, Waterloo, Reading and Guilford. read more

The design, specification and procurement of an Area Traffic Control (ATC) system for 200 signalised intersection in the city of Mumbai. A TRANSYT network model was developed and the installation of Fully Adaptive Traffic Control (FATC) system; a leased fibre optic transmission network; traffic signal control equipment and adaptive traffic control system were also carried out. read more

Development of traffic management schemes for one of the busiest areas in Chennai. This included a parking development plan and pedestrian facilities. Work included collection of data, vehicle studies such as turning movements at junctions, and identification of parking facilities. read more

Traffic engineering for a signalized one-way traffic and bus priority scheme in the Dadar-Mahim area of Mumbai. By collecting data, reviewing systems, designing new models based on TRANSYT software and economic and environmental reviews the efficiency of traffic circulation was increased, as well as improved public transport, road safety and pedestrian facilities. read more
