Our environmental work is aimed at preserving and enhancing the natural environment - and mitigating human and ecosystem risk - whilst enabling sustainable development. In addition to doing all of this work within our own projects, we bring these perspectives and services to bear on projects found throughout the other sectors of Pell Frischmann.

Featured Projects

Combined phase 1 and phase 2 site investigation report for an un-developed site on the outskirts of Okehampton. A five year management plan for the ecology of the site was formed. The scheme received an Excellent Award under the CEEQUAL rating after scoring 79.5%. In 2008 it achieved winner of ‘Best Sustainable Project’ in the Industry Awards. read more

The design and implementation of a sustainable remediation strategy of a former mining site in Camborne, Cornwall, prior to its redevelopment for residential housing. An integrated environmental service was required for this £60M project. This included dealing with a heavily contaminated site with both chemical and ecological contaminative issues. read more

The development of a 2,000-hectareTechnopolis 60km outside of Nairobi. The vision is to provide emphasis on Commercial, Leisure, Transport and IT-enabled services. Provided an environmental and social strategic assessment and sustainability methodology, as part of the feasibility report for this development. read more
