Since our formation, we have specialised in the structural design of buildings for retail, hotel, leisure, commercial, residential, medical, educational and defence purposes. We also have extensive experience in unlocking development potential through the regeneration of brownfield sites and air rights projects.
From the refurbishment of historic buildings to new builds, our expertise is in long spans, deep basements, tall buildings and slip form cores.
A focus on sustainability has led us increasingly to use cement replacement, foundation reuse and demolition materials recycling.
We can also supply a full range of multi-disciplinary services for building projects.
Featured Projects
A major 20-storey office development in Central London. The frame provides up to 13m spans using Post-tensioned concrete with flat soffits to provide maximum column-free floor plates. Reused foundations and concrete ‘chilled beam’ helped project achieve BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating. In addition the project won the London Planning Awards, ‘Best Build Building’ in 2007, as well as being finalist in several other awards such as Building Award, ‘Overall Project of the Year’ in 2009. read more
Provides 70,000m2 office space with associated sports, restaurant, library facilities and basement car parking It includes 3 residential and mixed-use buildings providing 144 apartments and further basement car parking. By reusing foundations and sustainable design, it achieved BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating. The building also won three awards in 2005, namely, the RIBA Award, the Concrete Society Award, for ‘Outstanding Merit in the Use of Concrete’ and LEAF Award for ‘Best Public Building’. read more

This £991M project consists of two towers; a five star hotel with 1,200 rooms, and second 800 room four star hotel. The resort also includes a retail centre and an extensive water-theme park covering 16 hectares. We carried out auditing and code compliance checking for the structural engineering of this development. read more
Designed and coordinated the delivery of 54 individual projects, including: 2 new prisons for 5,000 and 3,500 inmates; police and fire station, training facilities, 35 border control posts and crossing points – in some of the toughest working conditions imaginable. It was awarded the 2006 NCE/ACE Consultant of the Year Award for ‘Outstanding Achievement’. read more
