Our York office is based in the technical and historical capital of the British railways network and specialises in providing engineering services to this industry.
We are located just outside the city wall and only 5 minutes' walk away from our key clients Network Rail and framework partners May Gurney and Amco. Projects involve various schemes, ranging from repairs to reconstruction of railway bridges and structures along regional railway routes.
Recent commissions comprise a mix of steel and concrete bridges, including the Station Road Bridge at Hipperholme. This was a 17m span modular bridge deck, comprising a number of prefabricated modules connected by in-situ 'stitches', which allowed the bridge to be installed in a single 8-hour possession with minimum road closures.
