EightyFen is a new generation of workspace coming to the City of London. Built to the highest standards, it is designed to create a community for a great work-life throughout its 14 floors.
Once complete, there will be flexible office and retail space, quality dining and six beautiful landscaped gardens in the sky that offer wonderful views of both historic and modern London. So it was with great pleasure that the Pell Frischmann Team joined clients and partner firms for the topping out ceremony of this remarkable new building.
There is still much to do, however, as the structure is finalised from the ground up to facilitate and support truly modern working life in an environmentally friendly way.
From hundreds of cycle lockers and the efficient pipe fan coil air conditioning, we look forward to seeing this through to the arrival of its first working community.
Mike Hitchens, Project Director, commented: "It takes a lot of effort, teamwork and collaboration from all involved to get to this stage and there is plenty more to come too as we deliver these innovative, low-carbon footprint, flexible workplaces with beautiful landscaped terraces".
Success is always about teamwork and Pell Frischmann is very pleased to have such great partners as Gardiner & Theobald, Skanska, TP Bennett and YardNine.
