Pell Frischmann Launches Manchester Team

New office in Manchester

As one of the UK’s leading highway, transport and civil engineering consultancies, Pell Frischmann is to add Greater Manchester to its network of offices around the world. The new team will support new infrastructure investment and development in the North West.

Pell Frischmann is currently one of just five specialist professional and technical service providers to Highways England. It is also a consultant to the TFGM Professional Services Framework and has a place on the Homes England Consultants Panel. The UK team of over 600 people delivers the full range of Highway, Transport and Civil consultancy services on a local, regional and international scale.

Under the direction of the newly appointed Divisional Director, Matthew Davies, the Manchester Team will strengthen the company’s regional – and indeed national – highways capability and bring a wider multi-discipline offer to the North West.

 Matthew commented:

The next twenty years will be an exciting and challenging time for the North and the North West. We need to work collaboratively and understand the bigger picture to realise the huge opportunities. The expansion of Manchester Airport, High Speed Rail, the ‘Streets for All programme’ and the design and delivery of the air quality agenda are significant projects with far-reaching impact.

Pell Frischmann is at the forefront of smart road technologies, innovation and the design of future proof infrastructure and I am delighted to be part of this growing team.

Pell Frischmann is a multi-disciplinary and international consultant engineering company formed in 1926. Working across infrastructure, buildings, and regeneration, it is known for diverse engineering expertise and its understanding of its client’s commercial and technical needs. Employing around 1,000 professional engineers, it does work around the world covering sectors including water, rail, highways, and flooding.

The new Pell Frischmann Manchester team has taken up temporary residence in Stockport, with the aim of identifying a central Manchester home when the team is in place.
