Associate - Fire Engineering

Job Title:                       Associate – Team Leader Fire Engineering

Reports to:                     Regional Director                                       

Direct Reports:              3

 

Main Purpose of the Job

The successful candidate will lead, develop and build our Fire Engineering team located in our Bishop’s Stortford offices.

You will be responsible for the planning and development of the Fire team’s workload. In this capacity you will contribute to the local business plan and support marketing and bid preparation activities. You will be responsible for day to day delivery including project management and resource allocation. In a technical capacity you will lead the team in the development of fire strategies and assurance for a range of building types. Work will involve the preparation of performance specifications, schematics, drawings and advice on material suitability with respect to fire. You will have at least 8 years’ post qualification experience in a relevant profession with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role. You will hold a relevant degree and membership of an appropriate professional body.
